Proctoring

The summer exam schedule details for 7 week, 1st half, and 2nd half semester classes is under review.

In the meantime, if you are considering proctored exams review these options.

Respondus LockDown Browser

Respondus Lockdown Browser works with the iCollege Quiz Tool to help keep your students focused on the quiz/test/exam they are taking, and not be distracted by other web content or applications. The quiz window will become the only active window, and all other windows and applications will be blocked for the duration of the quiz.

Points to Consider:

  • Respondus LockDown Browser requires students to download and install an application on their device.
  • Respondus LockDown Browser does not work with android devices, iPhones,or ChromeBooks.

Students may be able to request access to a device from the university if they do not have a compatible device.

For instructions on setting up Respondus LockDown Browser, use our guide.

Once the exam period has ended, Respondus Monitor provides you with a collection of videos from your students, with a series of snapshots for quick review.
